Bill from the Cook Islands

Bill told us about the 1988 Olympics in Seoul and showed us the souvenir medals he got there, he was in the 800m . He showed us the torch from the Sydney Olympics in 2000 as well . He also told us that when he was a kid,he was over weight and had asthma. He trained until he lost weight and got rid of his asthma. He told us how he balanced running and school and the benefits of the training. Bill told us about the athlete camp/village he went to, and how he stayed there for a while during the Olympics.                             by  Paul

Lui turning on the dataprojector!!!!!!!

This is a picture of Lui Ioane turning on the dataprojector, he was very excited to finally turn on the dataprojector. After Lui had turned on the dataprojector we watched a video on the blog, the video was of the Sacred Heart year 7 and 8 basketball team , they played really well!!!! Well done basketball players! woohoo we got new dataprojectors

When we came from tech on Tuesday and  we saw two men installing a brand new Epson data-projector in our class. We really liked it. Then when everyone left, I watched the men doing the data-projector. After watching them for a while, I went to Pasifika Proud. When they finished, I said thankyou then they left, and went home.

That was the best day ever!!
I can't wait until we use it - but Ms D needs to clear the whiteboard first.

Bp challenge epic fail

For the bp challenge, our challenge was to get a ballon from the other side of the table. The items we could use were 3 pieces of string, 2 pieces of sellotape, 10 pieces of newspaper and a pair of scissors. No one could do it, because the newspaper was too floppy. It was an epic fail!

The Bus

Yesterday at 12:30 Kakapo class went to Hutt Intermediate for Tech. One group did Hard Tech and the other group did Soft Tech. Once Tech had finished we lined up outside waiting for the bus. But we didn't get what we expected. A tiny bus pulled up and Ms Delahunty went to talk to the bus driver to see if it was our bus. It was.The driver called the bus the Postman Pat Bus. Seven people had to stand up because there weren't enough seats. It was a stuffy ride back to school!
